Gone to be with Her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Edna, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Jeff Astley and wife Marcianne. Dear grandmother of Scott, Matt and his wife Beth. Great-grandmother of Dylan and Paige. Sister of Ada Ormesher, Betty and husband Ken Roocroft, Peggy and husband Jim, Mary Somers, Joy and husband Don Freeman, George and wife Linda Williams and predeceased by Anne Cook. Sister-in-law of Sally and husband Joe Kitchen, Joan and husband Danny Brown, Shirley and husband Danny Thompson and the late Tony and Joe Astley. Remembered by family in England. Relatives and friends may call at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A complete service will be held, in the chapel, on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00 am. Followed by a reception. Interment in St. Andrew’s / St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia at a later date.
