Jean G. MILES- Obituary:
Peacefully after a courageous battle for the last 5 years against many illnesses. Gone to be with her Lord and Saviour and her beloved late husband Doug. On Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in her 82nd year. Loving mother of Gord and his wife Cindy Miles, Jane and her husband Dan Robitaille and Peter and his wife Colleen Miles. Cherished Nana to Ashley, Kristine, Alicia, Douglas, David, Kate and Mark. Predeceased by her brother Ronald Blackaby and survived by her sister-in-law Pamela Blackaby of England. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at The Salvation Army Oshawa Temple, 570 Thornton Road North (at Rossland Road) on Friday, March 12, 2010 after 10:00 am. A service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. Jean was an avid tennis player and volunteered at the Agincourt Tennis Club, enjoyed gardening and playing scrabble with her family. Donations in memory of Jean made to The Salvation Army Oshawa Temple would be appreciated.
