PREARRANGED FUNERALS

When entering into a prearranged funeral, you have two main choices to make.  Will the contract be funded (paid in advance) or left to your estate?  While there are many advantages to prepaying your funeral, we recognize that it is not always right for everyone.  At McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home you will not be pressured into making decisions.  We will take the time to review your options and allow you time to consider them before entering into a prearranged funeral contract.

Prearranged Funeral – We gather personal information and funeral details which are recorded for future reference.  The charges for the services and merchandise selected would be payable when the funeral is provided, at their current value.

Prepaid Funeral – We gather personal information and funeral details which are recorded for future reference.  The services and merchandise you select are outlined in a “Prearranged Funeral Service Contract”.  At McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home we guarantee our prepaid funerals.  This means that the investment plus accrued interest will always be considered sufficient to meet our costs.  The funds are also tax sheltered.

Payment plans can be worked out on a single payment basis or over time.  We offer an interest free one-year plan and multiple payments over 3, 5 or 10 years payable monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.  Each plan is customized to meet your specific needs.

All of our plans strictly adhere to the Ontario Funeral Directors and Establishments Act to ensure protection for yourself, your family and your investment.
